This volume of essays has been a labor of love by former students and colleagues of Zenos Hawkinson (1925-1997), professor of history at North Park College (now North Park University) from 1952 until his retirement in 1986. He continued to teach part-time until 1993. It is a posthumous festschrist that honors and celebrates his life, which was a noble pursuit of excellence affecting ongoing generations of people.
